Last week my PC laptop fails to boot. My immediate reaction ????#**!! Oh boy, I'm into a BIG problem. So, I tried to find out by checking the PC itself but there are no physical and external problems that I can see. I tried several times to reboot and opening the bios operating system but it won't follow any command. I called Ton for a second opinion his Hypothetical Guess is also my greatest FEAR. The HARD DISK CRASHED!

Now what will I do? If this is true all my valued documents and PHOTOS from 2004-2007 will be GONE! I tried to comfort myself, by diverting my time to other productive task. But it won't leave my mind.

Now, what have I done. I AM A VICTIM of my own making. If only I transferred my entire PHOTO collection to Dailychex I could have saved my precious souvenirs, those frozen moments in time. This is one of the reason why we have created dailychex, and what am I thinking? The essence of capturing every moment, every memorable event, every creative impulse is "PRICELESS"!

It's too late for me now. Sometimes we tend to disregard what we have, and when it's gone, we reminse and treasure it's value. Crazy? but it's true.

I've been encouraging everyone to upload their photos to Dailychex for storage, and for keeping a backup and here I am A VICTIM.

The Dailychex Team will soon be launching Tag Clouds and Album/User searching tools. The team knows that we need to access our photos immediately by searching by tags, user, or albums. Albums and photos can be lost in the immense size of photos that we have stored at this time. Based on our counter we have 11,500 plus photos that are published and it's building up everyday. With this in mindwe know that our photos can be misplaced and searching for our favorite photos and albums can be a hassle or a nightmare.

For our searching to be effective and seamless we need your help. Yes, all of us "Dailychexers" we need to TAG our albums and photos. Right now, you can do it by going to the Toolbox -scroll downgo to Photo Pool, then at the right side of the page we have editing tools with icons. Tagging is one of them, click the TAG icon and enter your tag word then it's done. When the application for Tag Cloud and Searching is up. We can just punch in our keywords then..... "bingo" we have our desired photo in our screen.

Looking back at 2007, Dailychex.com has developed into a useful application. We were able to accomplish several features that cater to our need for photo sharing and blogging. First of all it's FREE, just sign-up and use the website to share your photos and blogs. We also have your photos look good with it's high resolution images. Blogging is made easier and e-mail it as "What you See is What Get". Our Album Toolbox helps you to move photos from album to album, rearrange photos, setup your viewing preferences and etc. Photo grabbing is also available with security preferences. We are working on our groups and messaging features that we believe will help us enjoy more using Dailychex.

With partnerships with QOOP, INC. we can now print our photos, create stuff that we can give as gifts, souvenirs and ship it to our home address. PICNIK also gives us the handytool to edit our photos online, adjust color, exposure and be creative with it's shapes, frames and etc.

It's really fun to have a hobby. It is a relief from stress. Photography is a very relaxing and a rewarding hobby. It ignites your creativity, but mind you it can also be a stressor. A wife commented "It's a very expensive addiction". Well, it depends to who's perspective.

All I know, people are caught in a frenzy of capturing every moment in their lives that they know it will come only once. So, why not capture it.

Since the dawn of Digital Photography, people become more engrossed to photography. Everybody is into it, cellphones are now capable of taking 5 MP photos. It is a part of our lives we are in a digital age.
