We knew Pangborn since the elementary years. We were classmates at Negros Mission Academy. He loves to sell Health and Home magazines during summertime while all of us are busy playing.
His family left Negros Occidental during his secondary years then we met again at Philippine Union College when we were in college. Together with all the Ilonggo boys who stayed in Molave Hall (PUC) we all had fun. Telling funny jokes, teasing each other until somebody gets pissed off, or just eating in the cafeteria and watch those beautiful ladies coming through the cafeteria doors to have their meals too.
Yes, BARKADAS, we had our good times and also we had our bad times. But we believe, it is the contrast of our experiences that completes the canvas of the lives we live. WE are very fortunate that we had the chance in this lifetime to know PANGBORN and it is also as unfortunate that he has to leave us because he became a victim of the cruelty of our present world.
We pray for the family of Pangborn especially for his wife and children.
We will miss you brother PANGBORN...

October 31, 2007
Mom and Dad had never been so excited about "Trick or Treat". Not until just this past Oct. 31st. So excited, that they had bought me a very nice witch costume three months in advance. Yes, three months!
Finally, the most awaited event had come. Mom and Dad dressed me up to be the most beautiful witch for the night. As you can see, I was wearing a velvety top and organza bottom costume. It was matched with stripes of black and orange stockings and shiny black shoes. My hair was decorated with black ribbons and plastic pumkins. Of course, Grandma was there to help too.
Okay, now we are ready to go. Oooops, I thought my costume was complete. I was missing something....the broom! So, we had to take my daddy's car. But before we started, we fetched Tita Zy and Kuya Isaiah to go with us.
Trick or Treat! My Mom and Dad greeted as Uncle Glen and Kuya Dawson opened their house. I responded with a smile. In the middle of their hi's and hello's, I started to get fuzzy. "Maybe she is hungry". That's what my mom and dad thought. Unfortunately, daddy forgot to bring my milk. So, what else can we do but to say bye, bye!
I calmed down as soon as I was placed back on my car seat. Then my mom and dad thought that I would be okey. Now, they decided to go to the next house.
Daddy said, "123 and smile!", of course, everybody did but me.
We went back home to get my milk before we went to our last destination. On our way, I got to drink half of my milk. So, mom and dad thought that this time I will be okey and so did I.
"Trick or Treat!", my mom and dad greeted as they met their friends, Tita Lalyn, her kids, and Tita Nene with two of her kids, too. Guess what, I just started crying. This time it was even louder than the first one. I didn't mean to spoil the night, but I just can't help it, but cry! Again, we had to leave right away. At this time, mom and dad thought that maybe I was already sleepy.
Before we finally left, we had some poses and I bet you, everybody had their big smiles but me! Then we went back home for the night is almost over.
Was it the word Trick or Treat, the people, the noise, or the event itself that made me so uncomfortable. I don't know. But honestly, I think my mom and dad enjoyed the event more than I did.
I just hope that I would do better for the next year's Trick or Treat!
Wish me luck!
