Sagebrush Montessori Academy had there annual invitational the other day, and it was quite a turn out. More importantly, I was amazed with the young students who not only have developed a second nature to riding these large animals, but respect, care and nurture them as well. The level of responsibility that is learned when tending to these large animals can be applied to everyday life tasks in general and at the same time, the children gain confidence and self awareness.

There are great things about a montessori program, especially the everyday life skills that are grown, learned and nurtured.

Racing is always fun, even moreso when
you have a horse stick assisting you in a friendly competition. If I had one of these beauties, I would name it Thunderfoot.
